The Zetas Are Teaming Up With Chrisette Michelle To Host A Panel on Investing In Yourself
The Zetas are working to help women from all walks of life, especially women of color, connect and learn to adopt practices on how to invest time in themselves.
The Sigma Kappa Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. in Brooklyn, New York will host “Empowered! Owning Your Excellence”, a virtual panel discussion Saturday, March 27, 2021, featuring Grammy Award Winning Recording Artist Chrisette Michele, Totality Wellness Founder Stephanie Carnegie, Epiphany Blue Founder Tamekia Flowers-Ball, Chairman, Brookdale University Hospital – Department of OB/GYN Cyrus McCalla, M.D., and Reproductive Endocrinologist Conceive Fertility Center Tiffanny Jones, M.D.
Most women face the challenge of meeting their optimum physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing, their daily responsibilities as caregivers, working professionals, friends, which impacts the ability to devote time to themselves. This empowerment forum was designed to create conversations around these challenges and explore ways to balance our minds, bodies, and souls.
“I am extremely excited for this empowerment event which will help women navigate some of the unique challenges we are facing in this new age,” Camille Titus, President of Sigma Kappa Zeta Chapter stated. “This is an opportunity to reset your center and encourage your capacity to thrive.”
Chrisette Michele will facilitate and lead the conversation on “Empowering You to Own Your Excellence”, “I love subjects around women’s empowerment,” she stated. “The publicity of my journey to peace has led me to share with others how they can create peace within their own lives. I’ve learned not to be afraid to open my mouth to speak as much as I open my mouth to sing. Teaching the faith-based principles of ‘making peace’ has been a fulfilling extension of my offering.”
Stephanie Carnegie, Founder, Totality Wellness, will lead “Mindful Conversations on Mental Health”. “We have to break the stigma on the importance of maintaining a healthy mind, with Totality Wellness we practice methods on how to ‘Stop the Stigma and Start the Conversation’ through trauma-informed care programming and raising awareness on Mental Health,” she stated.
Registered attendees will also have an opportunity to hear from medical professionals Cyrus McCalla, MD, Chairman, Department of OB/GYN, Brookdale University Hospital (Brooklyn, NY) and Tiffanny Jones, MD, Reproductive Endocrinologist, Conceive Fertility Center (Irving, Texas) will facilitate “Doctor Talk – The Health of Being a Woman” during a Q & A panel followed by Tamekia Flowers-Ball, Founder of Epiphany Blue and Certified Yoga Instructor will facilitate “Reclaiming Your Time: Making YOU the Priority”
