Alpha Phi Alpha Brothers Donate $100,000 to Fort Valley State University
The brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha are putting their money where their mouth is and have donated $100,000 to Fort Valley State University.
On Saturday, October 23, 2021, current undergrad and alumni brothers of the Gamma Zeta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. celebrated their 75th anniversary as a chapter on campus. To celebrate the brothers created the Alpha Phi Alpha – Gamma Zeta Legacy Fund over a year ago to help raise funds to contribute to the FVSU Foundation.

The chapter along with its steering committee made their donation of $100,000 to the FVSU Foundation during the FVSU’s Homecoming Game.
We at Watch The Yard would like to commend the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha for their huge support of HBCUs.
