The Lawrenceville-Duluth Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in Georgia does not play when it comes to serving the community!
The chapter recently held its annual Kappa Luau Weekend to raise money and gave away almost $30,000 to local college students and high school seniors. Students who received the awards included Gwinnett County high school seniors, Georgia Gwinnett College students and graduating LDAC Kappa Leaguers.
Giving is nothing new to the Lawrenceville-Duluth Alumni Chapter Nupes. According to the Gwinnett Daily Post this just so happens to be the third year where they have awarded more than $20,000 to Black students in their area.
We at WatchTheYard.com would like to commend these brothers on their Achievement! This is something we love to see! Please share this story and encourage other chapters to make contributions to local students like this!
