Kappa Alpha Psi’s San Fernando-Santa Clarita Alumni Chapter Crosses Another Line of Achievers
The San Fernando-Santa Clarita (CA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, with more than a decade of fostering leadership and excellence, has just welcomed its newest class of initiates for Fall 2024. Since its chartering on November 1, 2013, the chapter has upheld the fraternity’s guiding principle of “Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor,” continuously drawing in members who embody this mission.
The Fall 2024 line reflects this unwavering commitment. Each of the newly inducted brothers brings with them an impressive background and dedication to personal and professional success. From renowned creatives and community activists to trailblazing entrepreneurs and educators, these initiates exemplify the spirit of Kappa Alpha Psi’s legacy of excellence.
The Fall 2024 line goes by the name The Kommiss10n and includes the following brothers:
KING KLAR1TY (Gerald “Grand” Doe)
Gerald “Grand” Doe is 33 years old from Pineland, SC. He graduated from Howard University with a BFA in Acting. He is an actor and the owner of Grand Doe Enterprises, which specializes in event planning and trucking.
HIND2IGHT (Micah Moore)
Micah Moore is 24 years old from Pasadena, CA. He is currently studying counseling at Cal State Long Beach.
MIIILAN (Jerry Lorenzo Manuel)
Jerry Lorenzo Manuel is an American fashion designer and the founder and creative director of the American luxury fashion house, Fear of God. He graduated from Florida A&M University (FAMU) and holds an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago. He is a proud husband and father of three children.
MAV4RICK (DuMarkus Davis)
DuMarkus Davis is an American violinist, tech entrepreneur, and community activist. A Gates Millennium Scholar from the Class of 2013, he graduated from The San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2018. He is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree and a recognized thought leader in music and technology.
FI5TH ELEMENT (Enrique Taylor)
Enrique Taylor graduated from the Earl Graves School of Business Management at Morgan State University, majoring in Marketing. He has built a career in advertising, working for multiple Fortune 500 companies including Lionsgate, Shell, and Anheuser-Busch, among others.
KOOL BREEZE (Michael Boyd)
Michael Boyd is a registered nurse currently pursuing his graduate studies to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Azusa Pacific University. His goal is to use his professional skills to make a positive impact in the community by promoting awareness of both mental and physical health.
KAIRO (Terayle Marquis Hill)
Terayle Marquis Hill is an actor, musician, and entrepreneur from Moreno Valley, California. A graduate of Clark Atlanta University, he is the co-founder of Everybodies Inc., a multimedia company focused on producing and creating culture-nurturing content and partnering with student-led organizations, colleges, and universities across the country.
R8KK STEADY (Semaj Miller)
Semaj Miller is an award-winning actor, writer, and solo performer from the Southside of Chicago. He has taken leading roles at some of the nation’s most prestigious theaters, including the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Seattle Rep, Syracuse Stage, Kansas City Rep, among others. His autobiographical cabaret, Sweet Bea’s, received the We The People Grant at Waco Theater, funded by Tina Knowles-Lawson and Richard Lawson in 2024. His first short film, #MoreLife, highlighted Black mental health and grief and was featured in film festivals nationwide. As an educator, Semaj has taught acting, voice for actors, and public speaking across the country.
ANKH9R (Ashley Sean Thomas)
Ashley Sean Thomas is a celebrated fashion stylist with nearly two decades of experience, known for his unique blend of art and fashion. After earning a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Morehouse College, he pursued a Master’s in Brand Management from Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Italy. He has styled iconic figures such as Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, Viola Davis, Kanye West, and Samuel L. Jackson. His work has been featured in prestigious publications like Italian Vogue, The New York Times, W Magazine, and GQ. Residing in Los Angeles with his wife, Lauren, and son, Hardin, Ashley co-founded a fashion company with his twin brother, Ainsley.
KOACH (Ashly McCullough)
Ashly McCullough grew up in Inglewood, California, and is married with two children. A legacy in his field, he works as a special education teacher and head boys’ basketball coach at Eastside High School. He is also a branch director for the Lancaster Palmdale area West Coast Elite AAU programs.
