Kappa Alpha Psi’s Colin Kaepernick and Marquise Goodwin Explore Egypt
The media has done some coverage of the photos of Colin Kaepernick and Marquise Goodwin’s vacation photos from Egypt, citing that the two are friends and fellow professional football players, but no outlet that we have seen has highlighted the fact that both of these men are members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
On Saturday, Goodwin, the San Francisco 49ers wide receiver, took to Instagram to post some amazing photos of his trip to Egypt with his wife. The photos, which also include Kaepernick are at the Temple of Philae in Aswan and the Temple of Horus in Edfu.

Goodwin has been an outspoken supporter of his friend and fraternity brother Kaepernick.
“This is part of history,” Goodwin said after the Bills beat the 49ers in October. “We’ll look back in 20 years, 30 years from now and be, like, ‘This dude stood for something.’ He didn’t fall [despite] everything. He stood for something, stood his ground, and no matter how many times he got booed, no matter how much scrutiny that he faced, he still was resilient through that and had the heart and the courage to continue to do that.”

Goodwin is an initiate of the Iota Delta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi at the University of Texas at Austin and Kaepernick was initiated through the fraternity’s chapter at the University of Nevada at Reno.
