FX has debuted multiple teaser trailers for the show American Crime Story: The People v. OJ Simpson which covers the trail of O.J. Simpson. Screenshots from the trailers have started to make their way around the internet in which Courtney B. Vance, the actor playing Johnnie Cochran, wears a Kappa Alpha Psi pin and Sterling K. Brown, the actor who plays Christopher Darden, is seen wearing an Alpha Phi Alpha pin on their jackets in the courtroom.
While many know this already, Johnnie Cochran and Christopher Darden are both members of these fraternities and did indeed wear fraternity pins during the trail. Cocheran happens to be the 45th Laurel Wreath wearer, the highest award in Kappa Alpha Psi. While seen in this trailer wearing a simple Kappa shield, in the actual trial, Cocheran was wearing his lifetime membership pin as seen below.
Watch the trailer to see the pins.
The People v. OJ Simpson will air on February 2nd on FX. Do you plan on watching? Let us know in the comment section below.
