Former President and CEO Of Motown Records Kedar Massenburg Is A Member Of Kappa Alpha Psi
Did you know that music mogul Kedar Massenburg is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi? Massenburg pledged the Delta Mu Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
William Massenburg African American record producer and executive. He was the president of Motown Records from 1997 to 2004. He graduated from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio.
Kedar is best known for trademarking the term “neo-soul” and bringing Erykah Badu to fame. Massenburg wanted to create a genre that acknowledged the influence of hip-hop and of other electronics-influenced musical styles. In addition, he managed D’Angelo after establishing Kedar Entertainment.
