Kappa Alpha Psi’s Eric Johnson Was Just Elected Mayor of Dallas
Dallas has a new mayor and he is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
Last night, Texas state Rep. Eric Johnson won the election for Mayor of Dallas, the 9th largest city in the United States.
“The voters of Dallas I think were very clear in this election they want that. They want big ideas. They want bold solutions. And we are gonna give the people of Dallas that,” Johnson said in his victory speech.
“Thank you, Dallas! Now the real work begins,” he captioned a photo that he posted to his Instagram account.
Johnson is a 1996 initiate of the Theta Iota Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Kappa Alpha Psi posted a photo of Mayor Johnson to their official Instagram account shortly after the announcement that he had won, congratulating him on his achievement.
Johnson will be inaugurated on June 17.
