An Alpha Kappa Alpha Soror Was Just Elected the Next Student Body Vice President of The University of South Carolina
The women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. are making BIG MOVES!
Hannah Joy White, a Fall 2019 initiate of the Theta Gamma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, was just elected the next Student Body Vice President at the University of South Carolina.
“We did it! Words can’t begin to describe how honored I am to be @uofsc next Student Body Vice President alongside @issyrushton as Student Body President! Thank you to everyone who believed in us and joined this movement that I know will break barriers and spark change for many generations to come. We cheered, we cried, we celebrated, but now the real work begins. “Get excited!” #envisionthis” White captioned an Instagram post celebrating the victory.

“We are so proud of Hannah and can’t wait to see her phenomenal leadership reach new heights in the Carolina community!” her sorority chapter wrote on Instagram in a post congratulating her on her victory.

Hannah will serve as the Vice President alongside newly elected Student Body President Issy Rushton, a member of Alpha Chi.

We at Watch The Yard would like to commend Hannah and Issy on their victory!
