Alpha Kappa Alpha’s Shannon Nash Appointed to the Board of Directors of NETSCOUT SYSTEMS, INC.
Shannon Nash, a highly accomplished executive and award-winning documentary film producer, has been appointed to the board of directors at NETSCOUT SYSTEMS, INC., a leading provider of cybersecurity, service assurance, and business analytics solutions. Ms. Nash brings a wealth of experience to the role, having served in various leadership positions throughout her career.
Ms. Nash is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, a historically Black sorority that is dedicated to empowering and uplifting women through service and leadership. She was initiated into the Eta Phi Omega Chapter in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 1995 and is currently a member of the sorority’s Rho Delta Omega chapter in Palo Alto, California.
Ms. Nash has a proven track record of driving financial excellence and leading global operations in high-growth environments. She currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Wing, a drone delivery service company and subsidiary of Alphabet Inc. Prior to that, she held financial leadership roles at Reputation.com, Inc. and The Inside Source, Inc., as well as various positions at audit and law firms.
In addition to her finance and executive leadership roles, Ms. Nash has extensive board level experience. She currently serves as a board member of SoFi Bank and LDR Holdings, LLC, and previously served on the board of UserTesting until it was acquired by a private equity firm.
Ms. Nash’s passion for board service and leadership in diversity and inclusion have been recognized with numerous awards and accolades. She was named to the 2022 Top 50 Women Leaders in Finance List by Women We Admire and received the 2022 Global Speaker Award from Women in Technology. Ms. Nash also serves as a Board Advisor to Black Women on Boards and is an Executive Board Member to How Women Lead.
Ms. Nash is also an award-winning documentary film producer, with her film “Colored My Mind” winning the Best Short at the 2013 American Pavilion in Cannes. She is also a producer for the upcoming documentary “OnBoard: Story of Black Women On Boards,” which is set to premiere in 2023.
Ms. Nash’s appointment to the board of directors at NETSCOUT SYSTEMS, INC. is expected to bring valuable expertise and perspective to the company’s operations and strategic direction.
