Former WNBA Professional Basketball Player Chantel Tremitiere Is A Zeta
Did you know that former WNBA star Chantel Tremitiere is a member of Zeta Phi Beta? Chantel pledged the Gamma Xi chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
Chantel played basketball with her siblings from a young age. As a child, she averaged 30 points per game at Hannah Penn Middle School and went on to become a star when transferring schools to William Penn High School where graduated from high school in 1987 before attending Auburn University on a full scholarship for her basketball skills.
In 1997, Tremitiere was drafted with the 18th overall pick by the Sacramento Monarchs. Her most successful season playing for them earned her an average of 7.6 points and 4.8 assists per game on top of leading the league in minutes played with 37.5 a game. As of 2019, she is teaching at Auburn University in their business school.
