Watch The Yard Partners With Advertising Week 2020 To Provide Free Access for HBCU Students and Recent Grads
If you are a current student or recent graduate of an HBCU and are into advertising, we have something for you.
Advertising Week, the world’s largest annual gathering of brand, content creators, creative, entertainment, marketing, media and technology industry leaders just announced an ambitious partnership with the United Negro College Fund and Watch The Yard for AW2020, Advertising Week’s global virtual event. Through the partnership UNCF and Watch The Yard will offer complimentary access to the AW2020 conference from September 29 – October 8, 2020 for students and recent graduates from HBCUs.
Attendees will receive a curated schedule of programming to focus in on key career opportunities, coupled with skills-based trainings, shareable education badges and facilitated discussions with industry professionals.
Speakers include Gary Vaynerchuck, Will Smith, Kevin Hart, Raja Rajamannar the CMO of Mastercard, Laverne Cox, Nada Stirratt the VP of Global Marketing Solutions at Facebook, and Al Gore
“Our goal for AW2020 has always been about doing our part in a time of need for everyone. We are proud to work with the UNCF to help provide education opportunities and build a hiring pipeline of amazing student candidates. We are commited to helping students build their careers. AW2020 is more than a traditional event; it’s a platform for change,” said Advertising Week President, Lance Pillersdorf.
