These University of Florida Sorors of Alpha Kappa Alpha Did a Photoshoot and We’re Totally Here for It

The ILlustrious Iota Lambda chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. was chartered on the campus of the University of Florida on May 17, 1975 and has a long legacy of successful women. The sorors of the chapter recently did a photoshoot to highlight the “edgy yet classy” side of their chapter.

“We decided to do this photoshoot to do something different, and showcase the more edgy yet classy side of our chapter,” one of the sorors, Christyna Conway, told Watch The Yard in an interview. ” These photos portray our individual unique sense of style while embracing our sisterhood. The concept of the shoot directly reflects our sisterhood. Although we are unique in many ways, our differences bring us together and makes our bond stronger. We learn from each other, motivate each other, and push one another to be the best that we can be.”

“Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. allows us to share a bond forever, and we believe that there is nothing stronger than that. We look forward to being in this journey for the rest of our lives,” Conway stated.
