Melanin Poppin’: North Carolina A&T Alumnae AKAs Celebrated Their AKAversary With A Photo Shoot In Jamaica
To celebrate the 5th anniversary of crossing Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the Spring 2013 line of AKAs from North Carolina A&T State University took a sisterhood trip to Jamaica and did a photoshoot that looks like it came straight out of a magazine,
The sorors took to the Jamaican paradise city on the northwestern side of the island and filled their trip with sun, sand, style
and sisterhood.
“We have an unbreakable bond…all shades of melanin, hearts of gold, and the greatest sisterhood a heart can hold,” one of the sorors, Cheri Farrior, told Watch The Yard in an email about the trip.
Their photo shoot is one for the books and is definitely #LineGoals.
For the shoot the sorors teamed up with photographer @livelimerecords, a Montego Bay based Jamacian photographer and took their pictures in the ocean as the sun was setting.
The results were amazing, see for yourself below!
